Best Practices for SMP Mentees:
*We highly encourage all mentees to consider the best practices for staying on-track and involved during your time here. The elements included iare there to encourage you to use these campus resources and to further your success while at UC Merced and as you prepare to graduate.
Qualifying Workshops:
- Aim for 3 per semester, for all Mentees
Advising:
- 1st Year Bobcats: Bobcat Advising appointments (book early!)
- 2nd+ Year Bobcats: Attend advising services (depending on your specific needs: Career advising, major advising, etc.)
Socials with Peers:
- SMP collaborative socials! We offer several social opportunities each semester. You will meet other mentees, mentors, and others in various programs/orgs/departments!
Service/Volunteer Events:
- Get connected to your community! Take part in service opportunities!
