About IPTPC

The Success Mentor Program has successfully applied and earned the International Peer Educator Training Program Certification (IMTPC) through the College Reading & Learning Association!   

                          

With IPTPC, the Success Mentor Program can now certify mentors who have met approved training and experience requirements. Certification not only recognizes mentors who have demonstrated minimum skills and training but also challenges mentors to work beyond minimum standards. IPTPC for our program offers 2 levels of certification, Level 1 (Regular Certification) and Level 2 (Advanced Certification).

Requirements for Certification

Level 1 - Regular Certification

  • Mentor must complete 15 hours of mentor training
  • Mentor must complete 50 hours of mentoring experience

The Success Mentor Program (SMP) would like to congratulate these wonderful Mentors that have accomplished the Level 1 - Regular Certification for the International Mentoring Training Program Certification (IPTPC).

Level 2 - Advanced Certification

  • Mentor must have completed level 1 certification requirements
  • Mentor must have completed a total of 25 hours of mentor training (10 additional hours)
  • Total of 75 accumulated hours of mentoring experience
